Here is the third and last part of our dictionary of natural active ingredients. After part 1 and part 2, here are
the natural active ingredients used in cosmetics starting with the letter Q and ending with the end of the alphabet.
Grape : Grape seed oil gives its antioxidant power to facial treatments.
Rosemary: Stimulating and fortifying, rosemary extracts and its essential oils are used in our body care
products.
Rose : We use Damask rose floral water in treatments dedicated to your face for its astringent and toning action on the skin. We also use muscat rose oil for its regenerating, restructuring, healing and anti-wrinkle properties.
Ruscus Aculeatus : Fragon has been used since ancient times for its vasoconstrictive properties. It is used to treat redness, haemorrhoids, oedema and painful legs. Ruscus extracts have toning, refreshing and astringent properties.
Sage : Sage hydrolate is revitalizing. In addition, it helps to control the production of sebum by the skin and thus helps to balance the skin.
Salmon : Salmon eggs are beginning to be used in cosmetics as they show exfoliating power once they are freshly hatched. They have a power comparable to glycolic acid. On the other hand, it does not dry out or irritate the skin !
Sesame : Sesame oil has emollient, anti-ageing and antioxidant powers.
Silicon : Anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle, silicon is effective when incorporated into facial and skin care products.
Tea : Tea purifies and tones the skin thanks to its astringent and antioxidant properties.
Thyme : Astringent, thyme is also an antifungal and antibacterial. Perfect for the skin, it also regulates sebum production.
Sunflower : Organic sunflower oil is used in the composition of our body lotions. Its nourishing, softening and
emollient virtues are sought after.
White Truffle : Moisturizing, toning and antioxidant, white truffle extracts confer toning, firming and nourishing
capacities to the treatments that integrate it. Rich in amino acids and organic acids, the Truffle is a high quality
ingredient.
Vanilla : remineralizing, vanilla extracts are a choice ally in cosmetics. It is also famous for its softening, soothing and antioxidant properties.
Vine : Red vine extracts help fight skin ageing while promoting good blood circulation.
Violet : Violet flower extracts are soothing, purifying and toning.
